To fail or not to fail?

Well if Zune is a failure, then i'll be a skinny cat dangling from a perch facing a mob of wild billy goats. Maybe that went too far but my point is that although Zune has not achieved its goal of becoming the "Ipod-Killer". Does that mean that someday it won't? Does that mean that they can't do it in the near or distant future? Does that mean they don't have kajillions dollars to blow without seeing much of a dent in their spending cap? No folks, it just means some insiders will say anything just cause they can and people will believe them. Well we think the Zune is doing extraordinarily well. Just because they are an 800 pound gorilla, they are expected to be tops in every endeavor they throw their hats into. Well hapkooey we say. Let the market play out and maybe Microsoft will get the idea and change their form factor to match up with the Ipod Touch and all the iterations of the 'pod. So is Zune a failure? No, give the kid some time. He'll get the hang of it. Til next time fiends!
