Here's a free game you poor Live user!!

Microsoft said it will give Xbox Live consumers a downloadable video game after... it was having major connection issues and outages over the busy holidays.

Reps at Microsoft claim that it was due to "increased sales" over the frenzied holiday weekend. Hmmm maybe so.

Members will be able to download one free game over the network. These games usually go for roughly $5 to $20. Further details will be disclosed in the upcoming weeks.

Before the holidays Xbox Live was at a strong 8 million subscribers and they are growing rapidly!

The details of the outages are not clear but alot of customers were pissed and now hopefully their woes are over!! Thx for at least making an attempt Microsoft! But here's a bit of advice, you should spend some of those billions on the network infrastructure of Xbox Live. Just my two cents. 'Til next time fiends!
