New Dell "Crystal LCD" Monitor!

Dell is not who you think when the word "chic" comes to mind, but they have really stepped up the bar for elegant looking monitors. Exhibit A...The Dell "Crystal LCD" monitor is introduced and is very sexy with its... glass stylings and touches of minimalism. Dell is really making a big deal out of this. They have a flash-based ad on their site and it is being touted as the next big thing. What isn't? lol. I digress.

This baby scores well in the looks department, but the specs fall a bit short. I mean for the price I would expect the native resolution to be 1920x1168 but alas it is only 1,680x1,050. The monitor measures in at 22 inches so I guess that's ok but at this price I want more and deserve more!! So basiclly you are paying for the sex appeal. But those sexy looks are gonna cost ya. The MSRP is a pricey $1,199. The price tag may be a bit out of reach for most techfiends but where there's a will, there's a way. Definitely for those who want that uber-modern look and will dish out any amount in the name of fashion and staying ahead of the curve.

This thing comes equipped with a webcam on it's forehead. The four speakers come internalized in super thin 4 millimeter glass. Of course, this one's a limited edition, so you better get 'em now if you do plan to get 'em at all. The metal tripod is the icing on the cake. Where do i sign up? :) 'Til next time fiends!
