Well we knew it was coming all along. The death of HD-DVD brings with it a massive price drop on the 360 HD-DVD add-on drive. Don't be surprised if you can get an HD-DVD player for the price of a value meal at MCd's. Well Techfiends there are rumors swirling that indicate the player could go for just $49.99. This is an excellent price point even though the format is dead. The reason it's great is because there is already a huge library of HD-DVD titles out there.
